Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Project Manager with 8+ years of experience to lead complex healthcare design projects through all phases—from strategic planning through construction administration.
This position is ideal for someone with deep healthcare experience who thrives in a collaborative team environment, is comfortable managing client relationships and project teams, and has a strong command of technical documentation and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day management of healthcare architecture projects, including scope, schedule, and budget.
- Serve as the primary client contact, developing and maintaining strong, trust-based relationships.
- Oversee internal project teams, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure project goals and milestones are met.
- Facilitate design and coordination meetings, including user group sessions and regulatory reviews.
- Guide the team through documentation and construction administration, ensuring quality and compliance with healthcare standards.
- Manage project files and communication using platforms such as Revit, Newforma, and MS Office.
- Contribute to firm-wide knowledge sharing, process improvement, and mentorship of junior team members.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of architectural experience with at least 5 years focused on healthcare projects.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
- Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary teams on complex healthcare or institutional projects.
- Strong understanding of healthcare codes, regulations, and building systems.
- Exceptional client service orientation with strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Revit and project management software (Newforma preferred).
- Knowledge of Enscape, Adobe Creative Suite, and other visualization tools is a plus.
- Licensed Architect or on path to licensure preferred.
