Rehabilitation and assisted living designed for warmth and community
Brighton Gardens of Bethesda is part of the Marriott Senior Living Services Program. Consisting of 5 stories, this $9.5-million project contains 101 assisted living apartments on the first four floors and 41 skilled nursing beds on the top floor.
The assisted living apartments, which range from "alcove" units to one-bedroom units with dens, are designed to promote a comfortable, safe and homelike environment. Special care was taken to provide an exterior design that would blend into the neighborhood's fabric of traditional housing.
At the ground floor activity areas, the beautifully-appointed reception area hinges the living room and entertainment parlor to a formal dining room. Circulation and expansive views through these spaces link the indoors to the outdoor terrace and heavily wooded lot beyond.
