An award-winning nursing and
rehabilitation center
The Carroll Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, located on
the grounds of Providence Hospital, provides long-term care for
elderly patients. Designed for the Daughters of Charity, Carroll
Manor is a 240-bed, five-story residential care facility with both
patient rooms and assisted living apartments.
A two-story atrium at the main entrance welcomes visitors and brings
natural light into the center of the first and second floors. Each
floor features 48 rooms arranged around common living, dining, and
activity rooms. Private rooms are designed to preserve the dignity
of each patient while encouraging interaction between residents
and staff. Rooms are arranged in clusters to create a residential
atmosphere and promote socialization, as well as to enhance patient
care, staff efficiency, and safety.
The facility includes a rehabilitation suite with a therapy pool,
a chapel, community meeting rooms, and 15 apartments for priests
requiring assisted living care.
