A new, multidisciplinary hospital in York, PA

The Specialty Hospital will consolidate WellSpan's rehabilitation and orthopaedic programs into a new 142,000-SF building on the Apple Hill campus.

This project creates 48 rehabilitation beds and 25 orthopaedic beds, as well as a large therapy gym shared by both programs.

On the first floor, a two-story concourse, warmly illuminated by clerestory lighting, links the main entrance with the visitors' elevators and the dining room. Also on the first floor is a 4-OR orthopaedic surgical suite, which includes peri-operative space to support 4 additional ORs in the future.

Imaging, Administration, Dietary, Sterile Processing, Materials Management, and support spaces are included as well.
