The first phase of the long range master plan is now being implemented.

Wilmot/Sanz has designed a five-story expansion to the Shady Grove Adventist Hospital that will add 90 medical surgical beds, 48 post-partum beds, and 32 bassinet NICU stations.

On the lower level a 20 O.R. surgical suite will consolidate surgical services in the Hospital. The project also includes an addition to the Emergency Department and a two-story main entrance atrium. Surgical services support and a new sterile processing department are located on the basement level below surgery.
