20 year Master Plan

Wilmot Sanz has recently completed a 20 year Master Plan for the Shady Grove Adventist Hospital Medical Campus in Rockville, Maryland. Phase I is under construction which includes a new all-private patient care tower and surgery depatment as well as major renovations to many of the Hospital’s clinical departments.

The Hospital is located in the Shady Grove Life Sciences Center and os one component of the Medical campus core of the the Life Sciences Center. The Medical Campus Master Plan includes a short range and a long range plan to develop the existing land for future Acute Hospital growth, Psychiatric Hospital redevelopment, Nursing Center, and Rehabilitation Hospital growth. Parking structures and future Ambulatory Care and Medical Office Buildings are included in the long range plan. The Hospital will be working with the Montgomery County Planning Commission to upgrade the existing site land density.
