Master plan for a healthcare center in Saudi Arabia
The Sultan Bin Abdulaziz Humanitarian City is a new, 400-bed healthcare complex that includes a rehabilitation center, a recovery center and an ambulatory care center. The complex comprises eight buildings.
Wilmot Sanz provided healthcare planning and functional space programming to support HLW's design of the campus.
Located in Binban, a small community 30 km north of Riyadh, the Humanitarian City is a private facility that was established in 1996 to provide state-of-the art outpatient and rehabilitation services.
The City will occupy 98,000 square meters on a site of 1.2 million square meters. The City will also include a child development center, on-site staff housing, outpatient clinics, conference hall, sports hall and administrative buildings.
