Christiana Hospital E-Tower Expansion

The 2010 expansion on the Christiana Hospital campus has created an integrated Cardiac and Vascular Center of Excellence and provides additional beds needed through the end of this decade, while enhancing education capabilities for staff and the community.

The new clinical care and education initiative for the Christiana Health System:

• Adds 204 inpatient beds, including 172 private patient rooms with the ability to add 32 flex beds
  
  
• Expands Christiana Care's cardiovascular program with an integrated suite of Cardiac and Vascular interventional rooms
  
  
• Establishes a state-of-the-art education center
  
  
• Creates significant additional parking
